Environmental Engineering

Graduate profile

Graduates of environmental engineering are specialists in reducing the negative impact of industrial processes on the environment, rational energy management, waste management, and air protection issues. The educational content of the study is composed of the following subjects - environmental biology with the basics of ecology, environmental management, air protection, water and sewage management and waste management, sanitary networks and installations, restructuring of devastated areas and spatial information systems, mechanics and strength of materials.

Prospective career

Working in research and development units, administration, design offices, and a whole range of enterprises searching for the most profitable relations within the entity human –industry – nature. Environmental engineering graduates can apply for building qualifications without restrictions as part of the installation specialization in heating, ventilation, gas, water, and sewage networks, installations, and devices.

 

Mechanical Engineering

Graduate profile

Regardless of the doomed visions painted by futurologists of machines taking control over the world and a human being, machines are our most significant and valuable assistance for the time being. They support industry, medicine, agriculture, and many other disciplines, making it impossible to run and live in modern society without automation. The graduates of Mechanical Engineering are prepared to participate in design, generation, montage, supervision, exploitation, or even testing a wide variety of machines and appliances, their elements, and whole production systems both in industrial entrepreneurship and in design, technological and scientific units.

Civil Engineering

Graduate profile

Graduates of the programme receive basic education in the field of theory and practice of designing and erecting all kinds of buildings, civil and industrial structures, bridges and geotechnical engineering objects. The study is practice-oriented, addressing reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures as well as geotechnics and building physics. During the time of study students individually prepare projects in the subject of civil and industrial structures, geotechnics, roads and bridges. Projects are performed under the supervision of well-experienced teachers.

Computer Engineering

Graduate profile

Graduates of the programme possess knowledge of the developed IT systems and their applications following most important IT issues, such as internet applications, software engineering or computer control systems. Additionally, they study computer graphics, artificial intelligence, databases and programming engineering. They can design computer systems of various configurations and create solutions based on local and industrial networks, including wireless networks. They are also being prepared to administer these systems.

Prospective career

A job in the information technology sector is dependent upon a graduate’s professional interests.  

The graduate may work as an administrator of networks and data systems, programmer, designer or tester of information systems – including web systems and applications intended for mobile devices.

The graduates usually find it easy to search for very attractive and highly paid positions connected with their professional qualifications.

Numerous graduates set up their own companies implementing interesting, innovative projects.

 

Management

Master, full-time

Bachelor's diploma in the same field of study or after achieving learning outcomes appropriate for graduates of first cycle studies in Management.

Graduate profile

Our graduates are equipped with: knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of management. The graduates of this field of study mastered issues related to the principles governing the modern market economy, qualitative and quantitative methods of management, money and capital market, corporate finances and social problems of organization management. The acquired knowledge, skills and competencies are complemented by a wide range of specialist subjects among others: contemporary marketing concepts, creative marketing strategy and brand management. Among the electives courses, one may find social media and internet marketing, employer branding, methods and techniques of promotion and building your brand. We focus on participatory teaching methods, case study analysis and a practical approach to management.
