Since 1987, the Erasmus+ programme has enabled more and more participants to be mobile, thus strengthening their skills and open-mindedness. The number of learners who have benefited from Erasmus reached 10 million in 2019 and growing! To celebrate this important milestone the Erasmus+ team is happy to announce the launch of a photo competition.
Our youngest students, gaining knowledge within the Opole Children's University of Technology went on an unusual journey around the world on December 14. Together with Erasmus + students and volunteers from the Confucius Institute, children visited European and Asian countries, learning about the traditions of many different holidays.

On December 10 we organized "Christmas without borders" event in the cooperation with Faculty of Theology of Opole University.
Our foreign students from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan , India and Erasmus+ took part in the event.

"Christmas Eve without borders" helps in building relationships between people from different countries.The main goal of the project is to show Polish culture and traditions to foreigners. Inviting foreigners to Christmas Eve helps Polish families in expanding their knowledge of other cultures and contribute to creating new interpersonal relationships. In many cases, friendships made at the Christmas table have survived to this day, are continued and developed.

The event aims to discover traditional dishes and their backgrounds from different regions of the world. So bring needed food products, pots and pans and cook something tasty for you and your friends! Cooking contest (with nice prizes) will be organized during the event!
Please remember that during the event alcohol is not allowed! The consumption of alcohol, hallucinogenic substances or any other intoxicants is strictly forbidden!
