We would like to invite our Students to participate in the 2nd edition of Innovation for NextGen EU Autumn School and 1st edition of the Innovation for NextGen EU: Student’s Conference to be organized by “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia on 20-24 September 2021.
The Autumn School provides students with 16 classes in a workshop format both in person and online, via ZOOM, and registrations are opened on website until 30 June 2021.
The conference is student-focused, and it is aimed at undergraduate (bachelor) and postgraduate students (master and doctorate) who are invited to deliver presentations on: Sustainable Development and Engineering; Economics for the Future; Open Societies and Contemporary Challenges.
University of León is opening a new call for excellence scholarships aimed at foreign students or students residing abroad who want to study in León undergraduate, official master's or doctoral degree. Details at the webpage:
The European Union under the “EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus” programme is launching a call for proposals for EU4Belarus – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) scholarships for Belarusian students who are already studying at universities in Lithuania, Latvia,Czechia, and Poland, as well as for those who will start their studies in the academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23.
The scholarship is available for the entire period of study at the bachelor's or master’s level and is worth 450 EUR per month paid from September to June. Additionally, a one-time reimbursement of travel expenses will be provided. Students of Lithuanian, Latvian, Czech, and Polish universities and those who have applied for the academic year 2021/22 and fulfil at least one of the following criteria may apply:

“EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the People of Belarus” is a set of special measures adopted by the European Union in response to the political crisis following the presidential elections in Belarus. Its overall objective is to contribute towards reinforcing resilience to achieve civic empowerment and sustainable economic growth in Belarus. The EU4Belarus – SALT programme is administered by the Central Project Management Agency and implemented in cooperation with the Education Office at Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s cabinet.
The Lithuania Business University of Applied Sciences Leadership Platform (Choose Klaipeda 2021) together with ChangeMakersOn is organizing a two-day international social entrepreneurship competition, which will take place on April 22-23.
During this competition, participants will have the opportunity to participate in seminars and workshops, get acquainted with the direction of social business, hear presentations from the best social entrepreneurs / practitioners from Tallinn (Estonia) and Liepaja (Latvia).

Polish Returns NAWA Programme
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced a call for proposals under the Polish Returns NAWA Programme. The aim of the Polish Returns NAWA Programme is to allow prominent Polish scientists to return to their country and take up employment at Polish higher education institutions, scientific units or research institutes. The Programme will create optimal conditions for returning scientists to conduct world-class scientific research or developmental work in Poland. Polish higher education institutions, scientific units and research institutes will acquire specialists with international experience and knowledge in the field of the newest research trends in their scientific discipline.

Under the Junior scientist track the projects may last from 24 to 36 months, with NAWA financing up to the amount of PLN 1,193,200. In the Experienced scientist track, projects from 36 to 48 months are possible with NAWA financing up to PLN 2,447,600. Additionally, in the case of basic research, one can apply for the NCN research component – a starting grant of up to PLN 200,000.
